The name is The Warm Water Creek in English and this creek has that name because in the old day it realy did have warm water.
Since then the Geothermal Company has been drilling and using the hot water to heat our houses so therefore the water in the creek is no longer as warm as it was.
The funny building in the background with the blue roof is a pumping station for the Reykjavik Geothermal Company.
