Landmannalaugar lie due east of the volcano Hekla and are in the highland of Iceland so a jeep is prefered to go there and depending on the route you take a specially changed jeep could be nessecary.
Here some hot water is coming from the ground so there is a stream here where you can take a hot bath in or just lie and relax for a while. This is a popular place to go to and camp as can bee seen by all the cars in this phote.
Surrounding Landmannalaugar the mountains are in various colors and a big part of them is in light color as those seen here on this photo.
