As you know, I love a little humor in the garden and I love to attract the pollinators,
so one year I decided to put some rotting fruit out to attract the butterflies, but instead,
it attracted the lizards looking for some "fast food"!

So again this year I have opened the Lizard Cafe in my little succulent "garden" in my non-functioning fountain!
We have strawberries, cherries, bananas and grapes rotting in the Texas sun to attract protein!
All lizards are welcome!
It is fun to watch them perched on the succulents just waiting for their next meal at the cafe!
And here he has caught a fat juicy fly for lunch!
