Patients come... patients go...

In addition to our daily duties we must also transfer patients. Some transfer to a regular nursing
floor, some are discharged home, some are placed on hospice care and transferred home after appropriate arrangements are made for at home care, and some are transferred to another hospital by either ambulance or helicopter for a higher level of care that we cannot provide. All of this requires additional paperwork and choreography of all those people and agencies involved.

And then the phone rings... an admission is coming. Critically ill. Unstable. Which bed shall we put the patient in? Who will be the nurse? Do we need to call in more help? Who is available? Another stack of paperwork to be completed. A frightened patient, a panicked family. And our day continues. Yes, we are there for you...

Simply no time to stop and smell the flowers. And this one has the sweetest perfume.

A very nice shot. The bug adds impact/moods to the shot. Well done.
