Fiji

I was in Fiji from October 27, 2001 to Nov.26, 2001 I left cold and wet Victoria , when I stepped of the plane in Nadi at 3:30 am it was 35 degrees C. and 90% humidity. On the way to my hotel we passed many men walking along the streets carring machetes. I wandered what did i get myself into.Our driver reassured me the island was safe and the men were just going to work in the cane fields. I visited 2 islands Viti Levu the main island and Taveuni the natures lover island.
