My mum had three sisters.
One taught me how to embroider (this is some of her work), another taught me how to knit and crochet, and the third taught me how to make sand castles in the local sand pit with an old metal jelly mould and serving spoon!
My mum could do all of these (including making sand castles I suppose) but for some reason left the teaching to her sisters.
