"Christ in Majesty" high above the altar ...> IMG_4498.jpg

Under North Apse of the Great Upper Church is the Byzantine style mosaic "Christ in Majesty". It is one of the largest mosaic images of Jesus Christ in the world and contains more than 4000 shades and colors.

I am interested in purchasing a print also. It is brilliant and captures the holiness and power of the Lord Jesus Christ - while I was a bit alarmed when I first saw it. Eventually it moved me to such peace and trust. Thank you for your work.
