DUMBO, Brooklyn

DUMBO is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, NYC that stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. It consists of the area around the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and has become a neighborhood flourishing with art galleries, restaurants, artist loft spaces, and performance areas. I saw this galerie on the "Popular Galeries" and I was curious so I had a look on the pictures and yes they are some good one , but to be honest , I'm surprised about all the hype around it (in my humble opinion).

I love that area and go there whenever I'm in town. Interesting people, stuff, junk, architecture, and of course, the famed bridges which all lend themselves to beautiful images. This is a great gallery and just the ticket for showing off the area to folks who don't know it's there. Nicely done and looking forward to more additions. You are making me homesick!

We have some district similar to this , it is called The Distillery District of Toronto, the Victorian industrial buildings turned art galleries, Coffee shops and impressive shows. Your observation is amazing and I am waiting for more pictures coming.
