The fellow on the right reminds me of the young Harvey Keitel. (Seehttp://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0141926/15.html?path=pgallery&path_key=Keitel%2C%20Harvey&seq=53 for the way he looks today.) He has the same street-wise smirk that characterizes Keitel's persona. Crafty indeed.
