After I hollered at him and told him he better get out of the center of the river he finally got out of the strong current and on up stream. It was such a good laugh!!
To me, he seems to be a novice at this using kayak paddles he thought would propel him faster upstream. Good advice you gave him to paddle up close to the banks. Nice photo though. I really like that 50-200mm lens.
