We have had too much sail. Our main sail was opened so that the Jeanneau would
not heal significantly. This made handling of the yacht a bit difficult. Waves were
moderate, but in combination with the wind they were surely enough to make some
feel uncomfortable. Helmsman is wet and you can see how the Tilley hat brim is bending
by the force of wind. Our gauges showed 38knots in ghosts. Enough for a coffee sail...
