We sailed out of Club Nautique's location on the Balboa Island, Newport Beach, CA to Avalon, Catalina Island. Removed was the "swimming office" of the Club, which we saw in January. Now the new location of the Club offices is close to the Lido Island, at the Via Oporto. However the yacht was still docked on the same place, at the bridge to the Balboa Island. We liked this location. It was a short walk to the Balboa's main strip with its culinary attractions and shopping.
