Thank you - and thank the camera! [And of course thank Thailand that you can look at it and apreciate it!!]

It was big, so that helped focus-wise - about three inches in length (legs included of course). They do get bigger - in fact I saw bigger, but this one was nearer to photograph.

They are called golden orb spiders as they spin golden-yellow webs; not sure if that is clear here.
