The Mississippi River has overflowed its banks and is up to the levee just 100 yards from where they are standing.
Elgin, retired from the National Weather Service, Dawn Brown of WWL-TV and Jonathan Myers of WWL-TV. Elgin and Jonathan both hold degrees in Meteorology from Pennyslvania State University.
