As the wife of Pierre Beaubercy Trepagnier, they were the original owners of Myrtle Land Plantation which once occupied the land where the Mississippi River water is flowing to the Lake Pontchartrain. It is believed that a cemetery of the plantation is still at the site, now covered by feet of alluvial soil left by the water. Amazing history.
