The house has been gutted and treated for mold. It is about 10 houses down from the break in the 17th Street Canal. People were working there today, trying to remove a house that had floated into the back yard.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani toured the area today and said the same thing I have been saying--No other city in the U. S. would have been allowed to remain like this. The federal government should have offered more assistance.
