My second posting tonight--trying to catch up.
I cropped out the heaps of personal belongings ruined by Hurricane Katrina that sit in front of the American flag. I choose not to share my photographic misery--only with the insurance adjusters. I found my Rebel flag in a box that was way back in the storage room; had even forgotten I had it. It was wet but I hung it there to dry.
The Rebel flag was the flag of the Southern States in the War Between the States (Civil War) in the mid 1800's and my grandfather fought as a Rebel.
