At the age of 94 years old, Mrs. Trimble wrote a book about Afton Villa and the gardens beginning with the time when she and her husband bought the ruins. A reception and book signing for her new book was held at the New Orleans Botanical Garden where she has served as Garden Foundation Chairman for more than 25 years.
