Sunning Herself

As her three week old nestlings are napping in the nest, she tries to catch a nap herself and enjoy the first sun we've seen in 7 days. This is her 13th year of nesting according to my records ( I have been observing her for 7 years) which means she is probably 18 years old. Laying eggs, hatching them, then protecting and feeding eaglets 24 hours a day is not an easy task. My old girl, I would love to give her a hug.
