Night Blooming Cereus

Home

Thankfully, I brought my night blooming cereus plant in the house for the hurricane and five blooms occurred during the full moon. We had no electrical power, so I enjoyed the blooms by candlelight in front of the piano, and the wonderful fragrance of the flowers filled the house for the eight hours of blooming.

I'll catch up with everyone soon. Almost have everything cleaned up, including myself.

What a very special gift at a time when you could really use a gift. I hate to think of what might have become of them if you hadn't been able to bring them in. it warms my heart to think of you with your candle enjoying the blooms.

Lovely things. How nice they could live out the hurricane in peace!

Glad you were able to bring these in, can't imagine having no electricity for so long! A spot of beauty during a bad time! Lovely by candle light Coleen!

Sweet - I love the smell of fresh flowers in the house - it's relaxing although sitting through a hurricane might negate that feeling.
