This is the beauty of my home state, Louisiana, a beauty that calms and energizes you in one breath. Our waterways can be wild with alligators, waves of crashing tides from windstorms or smooth as glass. Our trees can be as beautiful as the wide spreading, all comforting live oak to the waterlogged, life breathing stillness of the cypress growing in a waterway.
Such is our beauty and it is there for the seeking. We love it, our Louisiana.
