I worked for five summers at the restaurant back in the late 70's, with Judy and ML, Ronnie and Aunt Dovie. What a fun time! Cape Craftsman was THE place to work in town, John Womble ran the arcade, Wolly Momble was just a little kiddle, sorry, M L, but Melvin's had the best hamburgers, but no one could touch your chili dogs! Vermel and her pies...Pat Lewis, Leslie Lancaster, Mary Lee, Dobie, Timbo, Woodie,....ah, those were the days. Summers have never been the same. It's the pits to grow old, but how sweet it is in my memories!
