Tree fern, (Cibotium glaucum)

Found extensively in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The common Hawaiian name is hapu'u.
The brown fuzz used to be exported for stuffing pillows. The practice died when the pillows began to lump excessively.

Lovely Selvin! I love tree ferns. I went half way around the world to see the ones that are native in New Zealand. Are the ones you have in Hawai imported ore are they indigenous?
