Only one of a few old red brick buildings left standing in Honolulu.
It was orginally the home of Primo and Royal beers.
The front facade reads, "The Honoluou Brew'g & Malt'g Co." It was built in 1900 two years after annexation.
A well known German brewmaster (William Glockner) emigrated to Honolulu to run the brewery.
Recently refurbished it is in stark contrast to the ferro-concrete structures that surround it. (Jeannette Murray)
