2 years and 4 months later, this scene amazes me even more :)
The lighting is incredible. I remember the gallery but forget exactly what the previous image looked like. Glad you persisted your quest for the best light.
Thanks for nudging me to take a peek again :) sometimes in our busy lives things just get in the way of what we would really enjoy doing, like viewing galleries like yours :)

you certainly know all the special vantage points to bring out the best of Sedona.
Your patience to capture the perfect lighting is well rewarded.
When I was there in 2002 the skies were cloudless and I only had a 3.4 Oly C3030 at the time.
Cant wait to go back with my DSLR

Very nice! I had a "hunch" the light would more fully illuminate the face of the rock at sunset during the summer months as opposed to when I passed through ( click here for a winter shot )

Impressive shot of Cathedral Rock. I have seen so many they all start to look the same. This one is very unique in its perspective and (most importantly) lighting.
