This photo was chosen as the NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals)
photo of the week. It was a nice surprise.
You never know in Photography when you will fire off
an award winning photograph.

This photo was taken hand-held after I jumped out of the
car for a quick shot as we were heading down the mountain after sunrise.
I had just spent the last couple of hours with my camera on
a tripod carefully composing other photos of this same volcano.
None of the carefully taken photos came out nearly as nice as this
spontaneous shot...that is photography for ya.
