I had been reading on the forums about how with digital cameras shooting with higher f-stops you can start to lose resolution due to diffraction ( shooting with an f-stop higher than f11). Some of these lense gurus can really spit out the technical jargon. It is well above my head, but anyways I was looking at your 50mm shots and the 50mm at f8 IM1235 looked to me to be sharpest and have the most contrast at that setting (f8). How much sharpness and contrast do you lose if you shoot at the highest F-stop for this lense which I believe is f-45.
