It was well after midnight when my daughter assisted me in throwing some light into the darkness of our porch. Focusing was still nearly impossible but I was fortunate to image this spider. Upon studying it the next day I noted that the spider, which is more than two inches in diameter, has bagged a giant cricket for dinner.
