My first ever wild Bobcat sighting, and I "captured" it.. how lucky was that! Taken Dec. 14, 2007 in Calif's Panoche Valley, some very rugged and barren terrain. It was fortunate I had set the shooting mode or "drive mode" to bracket exposure. One eye and the black ear tufts were underexposed in the preselected exposure, but by layering the other two exposures I was able to get the lighting right. A tripod is essential for this.
