Today we took a drive around just to look at the scenery. We had no fixed destination in mind. During our drive, a black bear loped across the road about 30 yards in front of us. A little later, a young female deer darted in front of us and we narrowly missed her by just a few feet. Then we had to slow down for a momma turkey and her baby poults to cross. I was driving, and most of it happened too fast for us to get photos of anyway. But it was a lot of fun seeing all the wildlife.
