While grilling some steaks on the back patio, we saw this red-tailed hawk on the TV aerial antenna on one of the houses behind us.
After a few minutes, he flew down into the cemetery trees next to the house and preened for a bit.
He was beautiful to watch.
And he was clearly a well-fed creature. This may explain why we didn't see any bunnies running around our yard this evening like we normally do.
