I remember this bird. None of my shots were this sharp. Guess I need to buy the 400mm. I remember it flying too - flew right at me - and as usual I missed the flight shot. Oh yes - this picture is really great! ~V

Excellent detail and processing along with the composition really makes this photo pop off my monitor. Almost as if I could reach out and touch the heron.
