Working with an aperture of f/11, the flash was a bit stronger than usual.
I didn't see any advantage in sharpness, just less depth of field. :(

Yes, fabulous shot and although the aperture was not as small as you would normally use for the extra dof, the main subject of the shot ie its face with the food, is brilliant.

I've played with some drastic apertures in the last week, and the Sigma seems so close to the Canon I'd think it would be a close call. I've found f/16 to as high as f/20 to be fine. But higher than that and I can tell a big difference. f/ll seems way to shallow for my taste, but each to their own. I'm old, and half blind.. I need some extra help. ;-) Another beauty, not sure I'll ever get a chance at one of these. Glad so many others do! Your focus was "Spot On" no matter the f stop. Good work as always.
