Rescued Dragon

Burke Lake Park, Virginia

I found this Dragonfly entangled in a spider's web, desperately trying to free itself.
I carefully untangled it and removed as much of the webbing as possible as it rested on my hand.
After a few moments it flew up to a tree branch and allowed me to take a photo.

Well done Sayer!! Doesnt it feel good to be able to rescue one :-) You are very lucky to be seeing them already, there arent any out over here yet - maybe another 3 weeks and they should be starting to emerge :-) :-)
