I still haven't seen one of these. But hardwood is pretty scarce around here, and lots of insecticides in use. About the only thing we have an abundence of want to take blood! Great shots thru the entire gallery. But heck, we're talking Sayer... ;-)

Ohhh, superb. Thanks Sayer so much for taking these, I think they are absolutely gorgeous - probably my second fav insect to dragonflies, but none for me in the UK so I will rely on your to show me the pics :-)
