14-NOV-2009 Sayer

Curious Chickadee

Kensington Metro Park, Michigan

It kept landing too close for the big lens, so I changed to the macro and shot this hand-held.
I'm struggling to process the 7D images. Hopefully Lightroom will have proper support soon.

Canon EOS 7D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/1600s f/5.6 at 100.0mm iso250 full exif

Can see you are already loving the new camera. Congratulations on getting it. Lovely sharp image on this photo. Sure that part is due to the new equipment but lots is due to the skill of the operator! Always enjoy your work.

Good sharp eye Sayer, nicely captured. DOF could be greater....

Not often that you have the "problem" of birds landing too close ;). Great detail and nice blue background, V!
