Lost Coast... Almost a Lost Cause

Lost Coast, California

Per someone's advice, I made the trek down to the Lost Coast, only to find some beautiful rocky
coastline, but almost no beach access. It's the lost coast for a reason... mostly private ranches.
Mostly cows enjoying the beautiful views here! So... not much to show for the time and effort.
Did like this pretty piece of redwood in the surf though. Too big to fit in my car!

This is quite a surreal image. The water is like a halo surrounding this mysterious object.

Very cool shot. I really like those 2 little rocks also. It looks like the rocks and the driftwood are in motion skimming over the water.

Love the dynamic, whispy effect of the long exposure and the soft tones--almost looks like a B&W from the thumbnail.

Sandi, Sandi, Sandi -- now look what you've gone and done...created another great capture. The compo is really excellent but the best part, IMHO, is the lower right side of this image...the longer exposure, just enough, to create such a great sense of motion and those two little rocks make the shot. The drift wood is cool but the accent of those little rocks really sets this shot apart. Kudo's!!
