If it's good weather, you're sure to see at least two or three climbing teams ascending El Capitan. Usually a
2-3 day climb (yes, they sleep on the mountain!), we met a pair who were speed climbing it the next day in one day.
We checked on them during the day, and they seemed to be on schedule. Not my cup of tea, but most impressive.
