"Pampanga Boys"

Continuing with my "Ethnic In America" project...

Two older Filipino "homeboys" hanging out underneath the train station
on Roosevelt Ave in Queens.

This particular stretch of Roosevelt Ave feels almost like "Little Manila"
to me with its Filipino stores and restaurants.

Note: Pampanga is a province in the Philippines, probably best known by
foodies as the home of the mighty "Sigsig" the awesome pig's ears, head,
etc dish :)

I'm not Filipino, but I do have Filipino friends. Just looking around, I realized that
everyone and their mother has a Filipino friend or two :-)

It's all these little ethnic communities that so enriches the cultural fabric in all the cities.
Great feel to this shot and I would like to try some Sigsig. V
