"The Cool Cat With The Black Hat..."

You might not know his name, but if you walk around Manhattan, you've seen him.
You know him.

He is the Cool Cat with the Black Hat. The Cat with the Big Camera. The guy that made
you say..."Ho!" when you first saw him :-)

He is Louis Mendes, Legendary NYC street photographer. Ran into him several times over the
years. Always approachable, courteous, and knowledgeable. Super photographer and a good man.

Nice one Sam. Looks like the bulb flash is just fro show and he uses the Vivitar 285. He must have strong arms carrying that thing around all day...
