• 4 anglers revisited Spruce Creek, a rich limestone creek in Western Pennsylvania between Altoona and State College. It was the 4 hottest days in June. Despite record hight temperatures, spring fed rivers had low temps with healthy trout. We caught trout with nymphing techniques and short casts. On the last day we tried the Juniata behind the lodge with poppers and caught some feisty smallmouth bass!
• We stayed at The Inn at Edgewater Acres, with Eric Stroup, Bunky, and Roger as our great guides.
• Bob Paino is the trip winner with his 26 inch rainbow!! Awesome catch!
• Tyrone, PA is where they filmed parts of "Unstoppable", an action film about a runaway train. Great white knuckle flick and many locals were used as extras.
