Road Side Attractions (or Obstacles)
They say there are more sheep in Iceland than people. It is important to pay attention to the sheep - NOT FOR THE REASON YOU MIGHT THINK. Your rental car insurance is not valid if you hit a sheep and damage the car - not to mention replacing the sheep.

Langjokull Glacier
This was our first glimpse of a glacier, about 25 km. away. Heather was ready to jump out of her seat when she saw it. This glacier is the source of water for the Gullfoss falls. We will be getting an up close look in a few days.
