still my "favorite" photo of this set. It pains me to say it that way. This history distresses me more than I can express in words

OK Ruth, now I'm sure you are a certified genius. You are at least three standard deviations to the right of the rest of us. I have been to this sorrowful place, deep in thought and reflection. I've seen hundreds and perhaps thousands of photos that people have taken of this place and what it represents. NOBODY I have seen has come close to such an original and powerful photo as this. Most people take photos they see other people take. You are in a league of your own. This episode of history and the extreme brutality that people are capable of infliciting on fellow humans is horrific beyond words.

Oh my! The perfect anti-torture image, forget context Cambodia or anywhere. There could be no greater incongruity than this. It is haunting Ruth, just haunting. I did not comment on your image of mug shots becasue I fealt it did not provide enough incongruity, in that case scale by for example an endless number of mug shots in to the distance. Here you don't need lots of shots, just one to tell the story, and what a story. I used the word haunting earlier Ruth, and this place must still be filled with ghosts searching for ultimate justice.
