In the upper reaches of the Deschutes River at Vail, this setting was sprinkled with big old-growth yellow fir, some
as large as 9' on the stump. The Madill 046 made easy work of the yarding as the Thunderbird 836 struggled some with
loading of the bigger wood. I had a big Link-Belt LS-5800TL that would have done better here but it was busy elsewhere.
