Thunderbird only built 2 complete 90’ Tower/Yarders, most were the TY-90 hoist mounted to another manufacturer’s tower
and carrier. Serial Number T-9068 seen here was purchased new in May of 1988 by Pete Papac Logging of Montesano, Washington.
The machine is driven from the lower cab up front while moving between settings. Over the highway, the steering tires would
be pulled off and a gooseneck would be added for towing behind a lowbed tractor.
