The World view map


As I trespass on the fine posts of my friends on Pbase, I’m often amazed by their feats of legerdemain with their photography. Recently I’ve been noticing a small line that says “View Map”. Pursuing that link, as you may well have done also, I discover that I can see exactly where that image was taken.

Impressed and wanting to learn how to do that, I asked Northstar how to do it. He immediately replied. It is simple, when you have your image in edit mode click on the top line on the right where it says “geotag this photo.” See example below
