Eager Students

Balboa Park, SD

March 21: OP Friday - Eager Students

My Photography 230 class spent the morning at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park the other day. The class visit gave us an opportunity to examine the work of John Szarkowski and others using five characteristics inherent to photography ” that Szarkowski presented in his book, “The Photographer's Eye.”

Our Prof Bob Barrt (second from right) then asked us to write a paper on the exhibition.

This little montage didn’t quite come out like I imagined, however these folks have been great front-row seatmates and have been fun to get to know and have been very helpful.

I'm headed down there in a few minutes to do a photoshoot.
Maybe I could have used all of you for the background.

Terrific, funny picture. Link sort of worked, sort of didn't. I did get prompted to upgrade my Adobe Reader, which I did, but that's about all I was able to do. coudn't find/get/download the PDF.

What a fun idea! And the link worked. Sounds like a stimulationg course, too. I had a few scrolling problems but that could be my old version of Acrobat causing that!
