I post this during the half time of the super bowl. No one knows who will win.

Anne and I saw Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” at the La Jolla Playhouse this afternoon. It was fun and excellent.

The title of the play strikes me as being an apt one for all of our super bowl mania. It really is a commercial and entertainment venture. It really doesn’t make any difference who wins. It is number 40 of a series of modern-day gladiator events.
