Number 3 in a series of 7 “one-shot” PaDs intended to sharpen my eye during composition and to encourage thoughtful and considered exposure settings.

The main thing I learned today was what a pain the painting on the wall turned out to be. I felt it had to burned out. I give myself a C minus for my lack of great success there. And my composition didn’t really get all the color and the drama of another Willmore book plus the Starbucks. However I felt a tight crop was much stronger than the longer view. The real story is that two of Ben Willmore’s books came last evening. I was so impressed by his one-day NAPP seminar last November, that I decided to pursue more good ideas from him. This book I’m holding is beautifully done in layout and color, and it has already answered questions for me that I didn’t know I had. ;-)
