January 9a: Just A Closer Walk with Thee

Rancho Bernardo, CA

With showers rushing through the county all this weekend, I again was able to take advantage of a brief respite to take my morning walk.

It was very quiet this early Sunday morning. The loudest noise was the gurgle of the storm drain.

“Thee” in this case is my trusty little Pentax Optio 550. This image captures me navigating through a puddle.

I considered singing that song at a party this weekend. Fortunately I didn't sing anything. My voice was not so great after a few glasses of wine and it would have been embarassing.

Good eye James. It is a composite.

Robin, is this a composite of two images? It looks like you are leaning back, way back like defying the laws of physics.

And good for you getting out even when it is nasty outside! I have had trouble with that lately, bad weather has been my favorite excuse lately to not get some exercise.

I'm convinced rain is better than snow/ice. I nearly broke my neck walking to the back yard this AM. Consider yourself lucky.

Does anyone have sunshine? Glad you're still walking.

Nice shoes, Robin ... even if they may be a little soggy.

See it's still a little wet down there. Good for you out walking!

I walked this morning too, Robin, to the store for milk and cereal. I'm really enjoying the walking five-fifteen minutes to and fro in my neighborhood. Glad you're keeping up with your routine. See you're having fun with the Pentax, too. That's a good thing!

Those shoes don't look waterproof. Seems to be raining all over the world today.

Robin, this is great, we will have to put your improved stamina to the test in the near future...:)

Glad you're still at it. Looks like you walk harder with your right foot.
Kenneth Zimmerman09-Jan-2005 17:09
There is no greater walk. I'm glad you were able to get up to enjoy it.
Heck, anyday we get up is a great day!
